About the program

Investing in a trainee can help reduce skill shortages within the organisation, motivate existing staff to develop new skills to ensure your most valuable asset, your staff, are suitably qualified and highly productive. However, often organisations don’t have the time or resources to invest. This is where AISIT can help!

The LGA40120 Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Control) program equips trainees with the theoretical and practical skills needed to be a valued employee in any of the following positions:

  • Ranger
  • Compliance & Enforcement Officer (Local Laws Officer)
  • Environmental Health Compliance Officers
  • Swimming Pool Compliance Officer
  • Animal Welfare Officers

    The trainee will undertake up to 24 months part time of theory and practical development as they participate in a combination of self-paced, online learning and live webinars.

    Your employee will walk away with an accredited, Nationally Recognised Training qualification, LGA40120 Certificate IV in Local Government (Regulatory Control).

    What trainees will learn

    Once your employee/trainee has enrolled in the AISIT Traineeship (Fee for Service) Program, the training will be managed in conjunction with the relevant State/Territory body. The trainee will undertake up to 24 months part time of theory and practical development as they participate in a combination of self-paced, online learning and live webinars.
