About this course
Abiding by a strong code of conduct in the workplace is vital for creating an equitable work environment. Organisational ethics should link directly with your mission and vision, and employees should feel comfortable and empowered in following your code of conduct. A key for all employees who undertake code of conduct investigations is to understand the principles of investigation relating to code of conduct matters.
This non-accredited short course is designed to grow your understanding of:
- Your obligations as an investigator
- The importance of maintaining integrity in the investigation process
- Understanding legal principles as they relate to code of conduct investigations
- Receiving and triaging a complaint
- Reporting obligations to oversight bodies
- Notetaking
- Conducting an interview with a complainant/witness
- Writing allegation letters
- Conducting an interview with a person subject of an allegation
- Analysis and assessment of evidence
- Report writing
- Making a finding
Course Information
There are no pre-requisite entry requirements for this course.
This course is delivered over 2 consecutive days.
Face to Face Training
Learning and assessment tasks are completed during the face-to-face training sessions in a class setting bringing together learners and trainers, creating a highly interactive and dynamic training environment.
All our classes are capped at levels to ensure we provide the best possible student experience. Where necessary we provide additional trainers to support learning activities.
Non-Accredited Training
Upon the successful completion of all learning activities, AISIT will issue a Certificate of Completion.
