What is Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)?
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a formal process that assesses your competency, acquired through experience, formal and/or informal training or learning, to determine if you meet the requirements for a qualification or individual units of competency.
AISIT offers an RPL pathway as a cost effective and time efficient approach to obtaining a qualification. AISIT acknowledges that any type of work, whether paid or voluntary, could contribute to achieving a qualification
RPL Fees
AISIT charges $250 for each unit of competency for an RPL service.

The RPL Process

You are eligible right now
If you wish to proceed, we will enrol you and provide an invoice to you for payment, and you will receive your qualification.
You may be eligible for the full qualification if you provide further evidence
If you wish to proceed, we will enrol you and provide an invoice to you for payment.
We will tell you what evidence we need from you to determine your competence in the units contained within the qualification.
You provide us with the evidence.
We assess your evidence against units of competency contained in the qualification.
We advise you on the outcome and if deemed competent in all units you will receive your qualification.
You may be eligible for part qualification if you provide further evidence, and training and/or assessment pathway for remaining part of the qualification

We assess your evidence against units of competency contained in the qualification.
We advise you on the outcome and the units you have demonstrated competence in.
We advise you on the remaining units to complete through training and assessment.
You successfully complete all the training and/or assessment requirements for the qualification.
You will receive your qualification.
